Position Overview:

• Schedule: Full school hours, Monday–Friday

• Contract Duration: Full academic year with potential for renewal based on performance

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Occupational Therapy license in Washington state

• Must meet all state and local regulations for school-based therapy services

• Experience with special education students and families is highly preferred

• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care abilities

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that align with students' IEP goals

• Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups

• Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to track student progress and adjust goals as necessary

• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy services, including progress reports and IEP documentation

• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations for student goals

• Provide training and resources for school staff and parents to support students’ therapeutic needs both at school and at home
