What Were Looking For:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in South Carolina (required)
• Experience in school-based settings or pediatric care is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Compassion, flexibility, and a student-centered approach
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled OT services to students in both individual and group settings
• Evaluate and document students' functional needs and progress
• Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with school teams and families
• Consult with educators to support classroom adaptations and strategies
• Advocate for students' occupational therapy needs within the school setting
• Maintain detailed records and contribute to team meetings
• Support smooth transition planning during the duration of the maternity leave
