An experienced Occupational Therapist is sought for a contract opportunity this fall, supporting learners from September through Decemberwith the potential for the position to extend if a permanent hire isnt made by the end of the year.

Youll collaborate in an educational setting, applying your OT expertise to help students build skills for success in their school environment.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist in Michigan
• At least one year of OT experience, preferably in a school setting
• Ability to assess and develop action plans that support students academic, emotional, and developmental growth
• Strong communication skills for teamwork with educators, families, and students
• Flexibility to adapt interventions for a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students functional abilities and identify barriers to participation in school activities
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams
• Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress for students with a range of needs
• Document all interactions and progress in accordance with district and legal guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to modify classroom materials and environments
• Communicate regularly with families and caregivers, fostering a supportive team approach
