Part-Time Extended School Year Occupational Therapist – Springfield, MA

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a part-time Extended School Year (ESY) role with school districts in the Springfield, MA area. This position supports students during the summer months to maintain and build upon therapeutic progress made during the school year.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements for Occupational Therapists working in Massachusetts schools, including:

• Hold a Master’s or higher degree in Occupational Therapy

• Possess an active Massachusetts License to Practice Occupational Therapy

• Have experience working as an Occupational Therapist in educational settings

Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

Typical Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students during the Extended School Year program

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs

• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student goals

• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Participate in professional development and training
