A contract position is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide services to 5th and 6th grade students in a dynamic educational setting near Stone Mountain, GA. Youll be working onsite with a focused caseload of just two students, ensuring individualized attention and meaningful outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Georgia Occupational Therapist license and GaPSC Certification (both are required)
• Experience providing school-based OT services preferred
• Comfort and confidence working with students with disabilities
• Able to complete all necessary clearance documentation
• Commitment to delivering onsite therapy in a school environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 30 minutes of occupational therapy each week to two 5th/6th grade students, aligning with their IEP requirements
• Assess, plan, and address each students unique needs in fine motor coordination, sensory processing, and functional skills for educational participation
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education professionals, and other school staff to promote each students success
• Develop and recommend classroom strategies, modifications, and accommodations to enhance student engagement and accessibility
• Monitor and document student progress, keeping thorough and timely records
• Participate actively in team meetings to share insights, strategies, and student achievements
• Ensure all services meet IEP goals and adhere to state and federal guidelines
