School Occupational Therapist - Sunnyvale, California

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students at both Piedmont Hills School and McCollam Center, with a focus on fostering growth and positive outcomes for the pediatric population. This full-time assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through mid-June, providing invaluable expertise to school-aged children in a supportive, collaborative educational environment.

What were looking for:

• Active or eligible California Occupational Therapist licensure, in accordance with the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act
• Minimum of two years experience in pediatric therapy, preferably with strong exposure to developmental disabilities
• Demonstrated ability working with school-aged children within educational settings
• Comfort and skill collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and families to support student goals
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for empowering students
• Commitment to onsite service delivery (remote or hybrid work not available for this position)

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and set meaningful goals tailored to each childs requirements
• Collaborate consistently with educators, caregivers, and support personnel to ensure a comprehensive support system for student success
• Document services, progress, and recommendations as required for compliance and communication
• Actively participate in team meetings, IEPs, and staff in-services to enhance student outcomes
