Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join a school district in Tampa, FL. This is a full-time, contract position providing direct therapy and consultative services to students with a range of physical, sensory, and developmental challenges. Classroom experience is not required.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting occupational therapy assessments and evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
- Supporting IEP development and documentation
- Monitoring and reporting on student progress toward goals
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Florida OT license through the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy Practice
- Knowledge of IDEA and school-based OT practices
- Must pass state and federal background checks per Florida Department of Education
- Authorized to work in the United States
