Occupational Therapists Needed in Arizona Schools for the 2025–2026 School Year – Apply with Blazer Jobs

Blazer Jobs is partnering with public school districts across Arizona to hire qualified and motivated Occupational Therapists (OTs) for the 2025–2026 academic year. Position Summary
As a school-based OT, you’ll support students by assessing their functional abilities and implementing interventions that promote participation and success in academic and daily school activities. You’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to help students overcome physical, sensory, and cognitive barriers that impact learning.

We are actively hiring for positions in Phoenix, Tucson, Mesa, Chandler, Scottsdale, Glendale, Tempe, and nearby Arizona school districts.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to determine students' needs for occupational therapy services

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals in coordination with IEP teams

• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in classroom, small group, or individual settings

• Monitor and document student progress in alignment with Arizona Department of Education (ADE) standards and IDEA requirements

• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings

• Recommend adaptive equipment and strategies to support student access to curriculum

• Maintain compliance with all state and district regulations

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy

• Valid Arizona OT license through the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners

• Familiarity with IDEA, IEP documentation, and school-based OT practices

• Pediatric or K–12 experience preferred

• Able to pass required background checks and fingerprinting under Arizona law

• Full-time and part-time positions available statewide

• Contract term: August 2025 through June 2026

• W-2 employment through Blazer Jobs

• Ongoing recruiter support from application to contract completion
