Part-Time Occupational Therapist – Coos Bay, OR

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a part-time role with school districts in the Coos Bay, OR area. We are seeking dedicated professionals committed to supporting students' functional needs in the educational environment.

Position Overview:

• Job Type: Part-Time

• Location: Coos Bay, OR area

• Contract Renewal: Based on performance

Minimum Requirements (State of Oregon):
Applicants must meet all of the following state and local requirements to be considered:

• Hold a Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Maintain a current and active license with the Oregon Occupational Therapy Licensing Board (OTLB)

• Hold certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

• Have prior experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a school or pediatric setting

• Complete all required background checks, fingerprinting, and employment eligibility verification as required by the Oregon Department of Education and the hiring district

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to determine students’ motor, sensory, and self-care needs

• Develop and implement goals and therapy plans in alignment with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success

• Monitor and document student progress and provide regular reports

• Assist in designing accessible classroom environments and tools for student independence
