Program Dates: June 11, 2025 – June 27, 2025
Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM | Monday–Friday
Pay Rate: $20/hour

Position Overview:
Join a supportive team of educators this summer and help make a lasting impact as an Elementary Paraprofessional! This short-term opportunity with Anoka-Hennepin Schools is perfect for passionate educators looking to support students in a structured, hands-on learning environment.

Schedule Details:

• June 11: Teacher setup and training day

• June 12: Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training (for applicable staff)

• June 16–20: Instructional week (NO SCHOOL on June 19)

• June 23–27: Instructional week

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support and assist students with daily learning activities

• Work 1:1 or in small groups under teacher guidance

• Support students in behavior management and emotional regulation when needed

• Participate in CPI training if assigned to specific students

Requirements:

• Must be highly qualified:

• Option 1: Pass MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam

• Option 2: Have at least 60 college credits and submit transcripts

• Willingness to complete CPI training on June 12 (as required)

• Must be open to direct hire with Anoka-Hennepin after 90 days
