Qualifications:

• Highly qualified paraprofessional status, proven by:
  • Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Educator Exam, or
  • Completion of at least 60 college credits (transcripts required for verification)
• Experience supporting students with special needs strongly preferred
• Comfort and willingness to assist with toileting and personal care tasks as needed
• Effective collaboration skills and the ability to contribute to a supportive team environment
• Strong, clear communication with students, teachers, and staff
• Reliable, patient, and committed to fostering inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students within resource, DCD, or Ready Set LAUNCH programming, as assigned
• Collaborate with educators to deliver personalized learning and behavior plans
• Provide encouragement, redirection, and care for students throughout the day
• Assist with personal care, including toileting, as part of daily routines
• Foster a safe, respectful, and positive classroom atmosphere
• Assist with classroom organization and preparation of materials
