Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a paraprofessional within a school setting
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must meet at least one of the following:
  • Completed at least two years of college credits (typically 60 semester credits) from an accredited institution
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Passing score on an approved basic skills test (ParaPro Assessment: 455 or higher; ParaEducator assessments: 65% in Instructional Support and 70% in Knowledge and Application)
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
• Adaptable to work with students in resource and center-based roles

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in providing academic and behavioral support to students
• Work with both small groups and individual students to reinforce lesson material
• Support classroom management and promote a positive learning environment
• Implement instructional and support strategies under the guidance of certified staff
• Accurately record student progress and participate in team meetings
