Classroom Aide | Anoka, Minnesota

Put your experience and passion for student support to work in a dynamic middle school resource classroom setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for students while collaborating with a team of dedicated educators. The position is set to begin as soon as possible and extends through the end of May 2027, providing stability and consistency for both you and the students you support.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of paraprofessional experience in a school environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must meet at least one of the following pathways:
  • Two years of college coursework (minimum 60 semester credits) from an accredited institution
  • Possess an associate degree or higher
  • Successfully passed the ParaPro Assessment (score of 455+) or approved ParaEducator assessments (65% minimum for Instructional Support, 70% for Knowledge and Application)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage positively with middle school students
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Support students educational and behavioral needs under the guidance of certified staff
• Assist in implementing lesson plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide academic and emotional support to students within the resource classroom
• Maintain positive communication with teachers and contribute to a collaborative team culture
• Supervise and encourage student participation in class activities

This contract position offers 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM. Located near Anoka, MN, youll have the chance to build relationships and impact lives in a close-knit middle school environment.
