What you bring:

• Highly qualified status as a paraprofessional, demonstrated by either a passing score on the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam or at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required)
• Previous experience in school settings, particularly supporting students with behavioral or special needs
• Flexibility and resilience to adapt between various elementary, middle, and high school sites within assigned crews
• Willingness to assist with all required student care needs, including toileting
• Reliable transportation to travel to schools across the district
• Strong communication skills and comfort working both 1:1 and as a classroom aide

What youll do:

• Fill in for classroom staff absences in SPED classrooms across elementary, middle, and high schools
• Implement Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) and manage challenging behaviors compassionately
• Collaborate closely with district staff and supervisors in your assigned crew
• Respond promptly to callouts and support a wide range of special education students
• Maintain clear communication and adaptability with various teams across different school environments
