Instructional Aide in Anoka, MN

Make a positive impact supporting young learners in a specialized center-based program working with children aged 2 1/2 to 3 years old. This contract position offers a consistent weekday schedule, providing valuable classroom support within a nurturing educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Must be Highly Qualified as a Paraprofessional through one of the following:
  • Passing the Minnesota ParaEducator Exam (attach score report)
  • Completion of at least 60 college credits (attach official transcripts; diplomas/degrees are not sufficient)
• Previous experience working with young children or Early Childhood programs preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teaching staff and therapists
• Patience, flexibility, and a passion for early childhood education

Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily classroom routines and small group activities with children 2 1/2 to 3 years old
• Support students in social, emotional, and academic development
• Implement teacher-directed interventions and assist with behavioral support plans
• Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
• Communicate progress and observations with educators and team members
