Key Qualifications:

• Current state certification or fulfillment of states paraprofessional requirements
• Prior experience engaging K-12 learners, especially in one-on-one or specialized classroom contexts, is highly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and therapists as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine interest in supporting every students success

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on support and care to students in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs) or classroom objectives
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom climate
• Implement teacher- or therapist-directed interventions and curricular activities
• Supervise students in various settingsincluding classrooms, resource rooms, or specialized programs
• Document observations and report progress or concerns to relevant staff members
• Uphold district policies to ensure student safety and promote positive behavior

This contract position starts as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, offering valuable experience supporting students at all levels and abilities.
