Paraprofessional Opening – 2025–2026 School Year

Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a dedicated Paraprofessional to support students in a school district located in Batavia, IL.

Position Details:

• Full-time, onsite role

• Support settings may include classroom-based instruction, small group work, or 1:1 student assistance

• May involve working with students with IEPs, behavioral support needs, or developmental delays

• Caseload information will be provided during the district interview

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Must hold a valid Illinois Paraprofessional Educator License (PEL) through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)

• Ability to pass background and fingerprinting checks as required by Illinois state law and district policy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a school or educational setting

• Familiarity with special education support and behavior intervention strategies

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Basic proficiency with classroom technology and digital learning platforms
