Classroom Instructional Assistant – Full-Time Opportunity in Batavia, IL

Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a Classroom Instructional Assistant for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year in Batavia, IL, located approximately 40 miles west of Chicago. This is a full-time, onsite role offering a chance to work directly with students and educators in a supportive K–12 setting.

Position Overview:
As a Classroom Instructional Assistant, you’ll support certified teachers in delivering effective instruction, managing student behavior, and providing accommodations for students who require additional academic or personal support. This position may involve working one-on-one or in small groups, assisting in general or special education classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support instructional activities under teacher direction

• Assist with classroom behavior and daily routines

• Supervise students during lunch, recess, or transitions

• Aid students with academic modifications and IEP implementation

• Provide toileting or mobility assistance if needed

• Collaborate with school staff and participate in trainings

Requirements (State of Illinois):
To be eligible, candidates must meet at least one of the following:

• Hold a valid Paraprofessional License issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)

• Have 60 or more college credit hours

• Hold an Associate’s or higher degree

• Previous school or childcare experience is strongly preferred
