Instructional Aide - Bear, DE

What you bring:

• Current Delaware Paraeducator Permit (must be fully issued; pending status not accepted unless verified screenshot of DEEDS portal is provided)
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in early childhood or elementary settings
• Demonstrated skills in classroom management, communication, and collaboration with educators
• Willingness to obtain and fund required $85 CBC fingerprinting for compliance
• Capacity to follow structured routines and support individualized student needs
• Proactive attitude toward assisting both students and classroom teachers

Key duties:

• Provide hands-on support throughout Kindergarten classrooms across the school
• Assist with implementing instructional and behavioral strategies crafted by teachers and specialists
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
• Aid with classroom organization, student transitions, and daily activities
• Monitor student progress and report observations to teaching staff
• Support students during instructional and non-instructional times while upholding schoolwide expectations

Assignment details:

• Full-time contract, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week (30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Approximately 60-day assignment, starting as soon as possible
• Onsite role within a vibrant elementary school community
