Teacher's Aide - Bear, Delaware

Key Qualifications:

• Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit required (pending permits not accepted; candidates with applications in process must provide screenshots from the DEEDS portal)
• Experience as a paraprofessional or in an educational setting preferred
• Commitment to completing required background checks, including $85 CBC fingerprinting, TB test, and Child Protective Registry Check
• Ability to complete all district-required contractor paperwork prior to start
• If a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), understand the district will classify you as a paraprofessional and does not provide BCBA supervision

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with teachers to support student learning and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere
• Assist with implementing individualized educational plans and classroom activities as directed
• Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all students
• Communicate effectively with educators and administrators to ensure consistency in student support
• Adhere to district guidelines and complete all necessary documentation
