Full-Time Paraprofessional | 1:1 Caseloads | Resource & Self-Contained Support Burton, MI

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (building hours may vary between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM)

Pay Range: $18–$23/hour (based on experience)

Contract Renewal: Based on performance and district needs

Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 support for students in Resource and Self-Contained settings

• Assist students with toileting, diapering, and hygiene needs as required

• Implement classroom and behavior management strategies

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and therapists

• Support students with emotional and behavioral challenges

• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all students

State Requirements:

• At least 60 semester hours of college credits

• OR Associate’s Degree

• OR Passing score on the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment

Must be able to pass background checks required by the state and school district

Experience working with students with disabilities and behavioral needs is strongly preferred

Candidates who do not meet requirements will not be considered.
