Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated School Paraprofessional for a full-time position with a local school district in Chicago, IL. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting students and making a difference in a school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom and/or 1:1 support to students with academic, behavioral, or physical needs

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities

• Support students with daily routines and transitions

• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Collaborate with educators and support staff to meet individual student needs

Requirements:

• PEL required. 

• One of the following:

• Associate’s degree or higher

• 60 semester hours of coursework (100-level or higher from a regionally accredited college or university)

• High School Diploma or GED and a score of 460 or higher on the ETS ParaPro Assessment

• High School Diploma or GED and the following scores on the ACT WorkKeys:

• Applied Mathematics (score of 4)

• Reading for Information/Workplace Documents (score of 4)
