Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school environment strongly preferred
• Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with students and fellow staff
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility, patience, and a proactive approach to addressing student needs
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Ability to assist with classroom tasks under the direction of certified teachers

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students in academic, behavioral, and social areas
• Assist educators with classroom management and one-on-one or small group instruction
• Implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in student plans
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, meals, and breaks
• Foster a safe and respectful learning environment
• Contribute to data collection and documentation for student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and other school staff as needed
