Make an impact supporting students in local elementary settings as a contract Paraprofessional specializing in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis). This is a full-time, school-based opportunity running through June 2027, ideal for compassionate professionals seeking a rewarding and dynamic role in education.

Key Qualifications:

• At least one year of direct behavioral support experience in educational, therapeutic, or similar environments
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of a RIDE-approved Teacher Assistant Training Program (or exempt through a higher education degree)
• One of the following: ParaPathways Assessment with required scores, at least 48 college credits, or an Associate's degree or higher
• National BCI background check completedstrongly preferred
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and dedication to fostering student growth

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support students with behavioral needs on an elementary caseload as determined after the interview, matching your skills with student requirements
• Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
• Provide direct assistance to students with daily academic tasks, classroom participation, and social skills development
• Collect and document student progress data as needed
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all district and ethical standards
