Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated School Paraprofessional for a full-time position with a local school district in Dorchester, MA. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the classroom and supporting student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom and/or 1:1 support to students with academic, behavioral, or physical needs

  • Assist teachers in executing lesson plans and facilitating classroom activities

  • Support students with daily routines, including transitions and personal care as needed

  • Help foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

  • Work closely with educators and support staff to address individual student needs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or Paraprofessional certification preferred)

  • Experience working with children or in an educational setting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Dependable, patient, and able to work well as part of a team

  • Must meet all local school district requirements (e.g., background check, TB screening)
