Instructional Assistant - Eagle, Colorado

Make a meaningful impact as a Paraprofessional working with middle school students with significant support needs. This contract opportunity is available immediately and runs through late May, providing essential educational support in a collaborative classroom environment. Youll work closely with a small caseload and a team of passionate educators, supporting students in grades 6 through 8 as they grow academically and socially.

In this role, your schedule will consist of 35 hours per week, with workdays on Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:40 AM to 3:50 PM, and Wednesday from 9:40 AM to 3:50 PM. Youll be supporting a maximum of five students, ensuring they have the resources and encouragement they need to succeed in a significant support needs classroom.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or similar support role in a school setting
• Understanding of educational strategies for students with significant support needs
• Patience, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit
• Strong communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to manage and encourage student independence and inclusion

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with a small group of middle school students, supporting their daily learning activities
• Assist classroom teachers with curriculum delivery and individualized instruction
• Help implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Provide positive behavioral support and promote social development
• Maintain a safe and consistent learning environment
