Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ABA Paraprofessional to join our dedicated team at a school district in East Walpole, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a paraprofessional and be passionate about providing support to students with autism and other behavioral needs in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support for students with autism, behavioral challenges, and other special needs.
• Assist in implementing ABA strategies under the guidance of a certified therapist or special education staff.
• Support students in daily academic tasks, social interactions, and behavioral management.
• Collaborate with teachers and case managers to track and document student progress.
• Assist in the collection of data related to student behavior and academic performance.
• Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
• Help implement de-escalation strategies when needed and support the emotional well-being of students.

Qualifications:

• Required: Previous paraprofessional experience in an educational or therapeutic setting.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and experience with students on the autism spectrum.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in schedules and student needs.
