Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly desired
• Current paraprofessional certification or credentials (credentialed candidates will receive priority consideration)
• Compassionate, patient, and able to build positive rapport with students

• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the classroom environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow school policies

Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to an assigned student, ensuring their safety and engagement throughout the school day
• Assist with instructional activities under the guidance of lead teachers
• Support the student in both academic and behavioral growth
• Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies as directed
• Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, and administrators
• Contribute to the creation of a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Monitor student progress and report any concerns
