Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar role within a school setting
• Comfort and skill in supporting students with social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Ability to build rapport and trust with students requiring specialized care and attention

• Demonstrated reliability and professionalism in educational environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent, individualized support to a student with social-emotional and behavioral needs
• Implement strategies and interventions as outlined by educational and behavioral specialists
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach
• Assist with classroom activities, maintaining a supportive learning environment
• Foster a safe, encouraging atmosphere that promotes student success and well-being
• Document observations and communicate progress as needed

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM; Wednesdays from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• Contract duration: October 1st through November 30th, with a possible extension
