Instructional Aide in Grand Blanc, MI

Embark on an opportunity to support students educational journeys in a dynamic school environment near Grand Blanc, MI for the 2026-2027 academic year (immediate start through June 11). This full-time, contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference through one-on-one or classroom-based paraprofessional assistance, ranging from resource and self-contained classrooms to general education settings across all grade levels.

You will collaborate closely with students who have varying needs, including cognitive and emotional impairments, and provide daily support similar to a health aide, such as toileting or diapering assistance as needed. Flexibility on caseload assignments is key, and your preferences will be considered by the district.

Desired Qualifications:

• At least 60 college credit hours from an accredited institution (official transcripts required prior to district submission), or
• Associate degree or higher, or
• Passing ETS Paraprofessional Assessment score (at least 460), or
• SAT scores meeting district guidelines (minimum 480 in evidence-based reading/writing, 530 in math)
• Adaptability to work across multiple classrooms and with various student needs
• Previous paraprofessional or classroom support experience preferred
