Step into a rewarding role supporting students with diverse needs in a full-time, contract-based setting. Work closely with educators and therapists in specialized classrooms where a lower teacher-to-pupil ratio allows for meaningful, individualized instruction. Youll be partnering with students who communicate in various ways and may display significant behavioral challenges, including occasional aggression toward peers and adults. Experience with students with Autism or related disabilities is essential, as is a strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Your schedule will follow the school calendar, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week, from the start of the assignment through late May. The number of school locations will be determined based on student needs and district assignments.
