Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current state Paraprofessional Certification or eligibility to obtain required credentials
• Prior experience working with K-12 students, ideally in specialized settings or direct support roles
• Adaptability to meet the diverse academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educators, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful learning atmosphere

Key Duties:

• Provide direct academic and behavioral support to students in 1:1, center-based, or resource settings
• Implement classroom activities as directed by certified teachers or case managers
• Foster positive relationships and encourage student independence
• Assist in monitoring student progress and adapt strategies in partnership with the educational team
• Maintain respectful, confidential communication and documentation
