Full-Time Paraprofessional Multiple Openings | Kansas City, KS

Blazer Jobs is now hiring dedicated full-time Paraprofessionals for the 2025–2026 school year in Kansas City, KS. We are working with a local school district to fill multiple vacancies across various classroom types and grade levels. This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate, flexible individuals eager to support students in diverse learning environments.

Job Details:

• Position Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

• Contract Dates: August 4, 2025 – May 21, 2026

• Grade Levels: Elementary through High School

• Classroom Types:

  • SLC (Structured Learning Classroom) / Collaborative Settings

  • BCS (Behavior Support Classroom)

  • SAILS (Structured, Active, In-Class Learning Support)

  • STEPS (Structured Teaching for Exceptional Pupils)

  • 1:1 Student Support Roles

  • Supplemental Aide Positions

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in classroom instruction and student supervision

• Provide individual or small-group support to students with academic, behavioral, or physical needs

• Support students in behavior intervention classrooms and inclusive environments

• Collaborate with school staff to promote a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment

• Participate in IEP implementation, data collection, and classroom activities as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or higher preferred)

• Previous experience in a school or special education setting is highly valued

• Must pass a background check and meet any district-specific paraprofessional requirements

• Ability to lift/move students or equipment if necessary, depending on placement
