Classroom Assistant | Liberty, Missouri

Step into a contract paraprofessional role supporting students at the middle and elementary school level for the remainder of the school year. Youll work in a dynamic educational setting, providing essential classroom and behavior support to students and teaching staff. Assignments may include positions at a middle school or elementary school and could require flexibility throughout the year.

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri substitute certificate or passing Parapro exam results on file, along with a high school diploma
• Experience in school settings and working with student behavior needs
• Reliable transportation to travel between locations if needed
• Willingness to complete required fingerprinting at your upfront expense
• Adaptable approach; comfort with changes in assignments throughout the year

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering individualized or small-group instruction
• Support positive behavior strategies and engage with students in and out of the classroom
• Help implement lesson plans, monitor classroom activities, and assist with transitions
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students
• Maintain clear, professional communication with staff and administration
