Paraprofessional / Educational Assistant – Full-Time
 Location: New Mexico
 Start Date: August 5, 2025 – End Date: May 29, 2026
 Hours: 35 hours/week (Full-Time)


BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Paraprofessional / Educational Assistant to join a supportive team in New Mexico. This full-time role is for the 2025-2026 school year and spans across elementary, middle, and high school settings, supporting students with a wide range of disabilities and behavioral needs.


 Position Details:

  • Placement in Inclusion Classrooms and Resource/Learning Centers

  • Work with students across Elementary, Middle, and High School

  • Support students with Severe Disabilities and Behavioral Challenges

  • Collaborative team environment – must be a team player

  • Must have prior school-based experience

  • Reliable transportation is required

  • Candidate must be available to start August 5, 2025

  • Interview preparation required before being submitted


 Interview Questions Candidates Should Be Prepared To Answer:

  • What is your experience working with students?

  • What disabilities/behaviors have you worked with?

  • What do you see as your role in supporting the classroom teacher?

  • What are a few ways you motivate students?

  • How would you help a student learn letter names and sounds?

  • How do you deescalate students exhibiting poor behavior during instruction?

  • Are you open to additional training (e.g., CPI, Braille)?
