Key Responsibilities:

Provide instructional and emotional support to students with diverse learning needs

Implement behavior management plans and assist with data collection

Support teachers with classroom management and lesson implementation

Engage students in educational and social activities

Offer one-on-one or small group academic support
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

Must meet one of the following:

48 semester units of college coursework

Associate’s degree
-
Passage of the local district paraprofessional exam
Must pass background clearance and TB test
Previous experience working with children or in special education is highly desirable
