Key qualifications:

• Completion of Para Test Certification OR proof of at least two years of post-secondary coursework (60 semester or 90 quarter credits) from an accredited institution, OR a college degree
• Experience working with students with disabilities or in a behavioral support role is highly valued
• Preferred candidates are female, given the need to assist with toileting for a female student
• Physical capability to assist with lifting, feeding, and personal care
• Calm demeanor, patience, and understanding when supporting students who are non-verbal and may become frustrated
• Willingness to work onsite and participate in in-person interviews

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing consistent 1:1 support for a middle school student, ensuring her educational and personal-care needs are met throughout the day
• Assisting with toileting, feeding, and mobilityhelping her safely and comfortably navigate daily routines
• Communicating effectively with teaching staff and specialists to implement behavior and learning plans
• Responding patiently and supportively to challenging behaviors, using available support and resources in the classroom
• Actively fostering a positive, inclusive environment where all students can thrive
