Instructional Aide in Napa, CA

There are three available positions for paraprofessional roles, each designed to make a lasting impact working onsite and collaborating closely with exceptional educators.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar school support position
• Flexibility to work across multiple sites and adapt to varying classroom needs
• For one position: Willingness to travel as an itinerant facilitator supporting Virtual DHH (Deaf/Hard of Hearing) services (32 hours/week)
• For two positions: Experience or comfort with PreK special education classrooms, including providing personal care and diapering assistance (37.5 hours/week)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor
• Ability to commit for the entirety of the assignment, through June 2027

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering high-quality educational experiences to students
• Support individual student needs, including facilitating virtual DHH services or providing hands-on personal care as required
• Foster a supportive and respectful classroom environment
• Collaborate with staff to implement IEP and behavioral plans
• Monitor student progress and contribute to a positive learning environment
• Engage with students across different sites as needed
