Teacher's Aide - Naperville, Illinois

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students at an elementary level as a paraprofessional. This full-time role involves working onsite in a nurturing educational setting, where you'll primarily provide 1:1 assistance within an instructional programand occasionally support additional students as needed. Typical hours are 8:15 AM to approximately 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

The ideal candidate is adaptable and resilient, comfortable with the full spectrum of student needs, including behavioral challenges and providing toileting assistance when necessary. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact in students educational journeys.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Paraprofessional License required
• Experience supporting students in school settings preferred
• Ability to work effectively with all grade levels
• Comfort with providing personal care, including toileting as needed
• Strong behavioral management skills
• Must have a fully clear background check; the district does not consider candidates with any record hits

Primary Responsibilities:

• Offer dedicated 1:1 support to assigned students in their instructional program
• Assist other students in the classroom as directed
• Implement behavioral strategies under teacher supervision
• Help with personal care, including toileting and hygiene support if needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
