What We're Looking For:

• Valid Delaware Paraeducator Permit is required at the time of application (pending is acceptable with a DEEDS portal screenshot).
• Experience or strong interest in working as a paraprofessional, especially with kindergarten or early elementary-aged students.
• Ability to provide hands-on, supportive assistance in a classroom environment.
• Willingness to obtain Delaware fingerprinting clearance ($85 cost to be covered by candidate).
• Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with diverse teaching teams.
• If possessing RBT certification, please note that external BCBA supervision is required to maintain certification; this assignment is classified as a paraprofessional role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the instructional and behavioral needs of kindergarten classrooms throughout the school.
• Assist students individually or in small groups, guided by classroom teachers.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Aid teachers with classroom management, instructional materials, and activity preparation.
• Communicate observations and feedback regarding student progress to the educational team.

Assignment Details:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• 35 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Approximately 60-day duration
