Paraprofessional (Para) Needed in New Cumberland, PA

Full-Time Paraprofessional (PARA) / Teacher Assistant (TA) Opportunity – New Cumberland, PA

We are partnering with schools in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, to hire a dedicated Paraprofessional (PARA) / Teacher Assistant (TA) for the current school year. We are seeking a hard-working candidate passionate about supporting K-12 Special Needs students.

Position Details:

• Full-time (up to 40 hours per week)

• Current school year position

• Pay: $15 - $25 per hour (based on experience)

• Caseload: Intermediate (4th - 8th grade); specific details will be discussed during the interview

• Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, including disabilities and English language learners

• Collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans, instructional activities, and behavior management strategies

• Support students' behavioral and social-emotional development under the guidance of teachers and specialists

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Paraprofessional Certificate preferred, but not required

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional is a plus

• Must be willing to complete Pennsylvania credentialing requirements, including a background check, fingerprinting, TB test, physical, etc.
