About the Role
As a paraprofessional, you will work closely with classroom teachers and provide individualized support to students to ensure they are fully engaged and progressing academically. Your contributions will be key to maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Key Duties:
Support teachers in delivering classroom instruction
Assist students one-on-one or in small groups with assignments and activities
Reinforce behavior and learning strategies tailored to student needs
Help modify materials and lessons to support learners of all abilities
Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture
Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma or GED required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude
Previous experience with children or in education is a plus, but not mandatory
