About the Position

As a paraprofessional, you’ll work closely with teachers and students to support instruction, classroom routines, and student success. You’ll play a vital role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Location: Norwalk, CT
Schedule: Full-time and part-time roles available
Start Date: Immediate openings


Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily classroom instruction and activities

  • Provide one-on-one and small group academic support

  • Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs

  • Support behavior management and positive student engagement

  • Encourage social-emotional learning and inclusion for all students

  • Maintain communication with teachers and staff to ensure effective student support


Ideal Candidate

We’re seeking dependable, compassionate individuals who are eager to contribute to student development and classroom success. A teaching license is not required for this position.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to follow teacher direction and collaborate in a team setting

  • Patience, reliability, and a commitment to student growth

  • Previous experience with children or in an educational setting is a plus, but not required
