Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 Hours/Week
Contract Dates: August 20, 2025 – June 5, 2026
Setting: Onsite | School-Based

Position Overview:
Nottoway County Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced Paraprofessional to provide 1:1 support for a student with autism for the 2025–2026 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to a student with autism throughout the school day

• Assist with behavior management, academic engagement, and social interactions

• Implement strategies and interventions under the guidance of special education staff

• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with students with autism required

• Demonstrated ability to manage challenging behaviors

• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
