Empower Learners Daily Paraeducator Position in Andover, MN

We are seeking dedicated paraprofessionals to support students with special needs in a school setting. This role is perfect for passionate individuals committed to helping students thrive academically.

Location: Andover, MN

Position Details:

• Dates: 9/2/2025 - 6/5/2026

• Full Time | Up to 35 hours per week

• Hourly Pay Rate starting at $18 and up 

• *varies on experience and school  needs

• Caseload: Supporting special needs students, including those with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students

• Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)

• Help with classroom management and student engagement

• Support students with daily tasks, mobility, and behavioral needs

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Prerequisites:

• Pass MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam OR Have at least 60 college credits, attach transcripts to present

• Previous experience in a school or special education setting preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
