Instructional Aide in Osseo, MN

Make an impact supporting elementary students as a paraprofessional specializing in resource, Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD), or Ready Set LAUNCH programming. This contract opportunity is for immediate start, running through June 2027, and offers full-time hours with a Monday through Friday schedule.

You'll serve in a collaborative, student-centered environment, working alongside teachers and specialists to provide academic and behavioral support. Multiple positions are open, and your preference for resource, DCD, or LAUNCH caseload can be indicated with your application.

Key Qualifications:

• Must meet Minnesotas Highly Qualified Paraeducator requirement by one of the following:
  • Passing the Minnesota Para Educator Exam
  • At least 60 college credits (official transcripts are required; diplomas or degree pictures are not accepted)
• Experience as a paraprofessional or teachers aide strongly preferred
• Able and willing to assist students with toileting and daily living skills
• Passion for supporting diverse learners in inclusive and center-based settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work directly with students receiving special education services in resource, DCD, and LAUNCH programs
• Assist with instructional activities and classroom management under teacher guidance
• Support students in developing academic, social, and life skills, including personal care and toileting needs
• Maintain a safe, nurturing atmosphere for all learners
• Collaborate with faculty, therapists, and support staff to meet student needs
