About the Role

As a Paraprofessional in Oswego, you will assist teachers with classroom instruction, provide one-on-one and small group academic support, and foster an inclusive, positive environment for students. Your role will directly impact student achievement and ensure that all students have the support they need to thrive in the classroom.

Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Openings
Start Date: Immediate availability

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom instruction and preparation of learning activities

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students

• Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs

• Support classroom management and promote positive student behavior

• Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom culture

• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to follow teacher instructions and work effectively in a team

• Patience, flexibility, and a student-centered attitude

• Experience with children or in educational settings is a plus but not required
