Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Must meet California Title I paraprofessional standards:

Two years of higher education (48 semester units), or

Associate’s degree (or higher), or

Passing score on the ParaPro or local district exam
Must pass DOJ background check and TB test
Responsibilities:

Provide instructional assistance in classroom settings

Support students with academic, behavioral, and physical needs

Assist teachers in creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment

Track and report student progress
