Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Must meet New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) requirements:

Associate’s degree or higher, or
-
48 college semester hours, or
-
Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment
Background check clearance through NM PED
Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one or in small groups with students
Implement teacher-directed strategies and behavior plans
Provide support to students with disabilities or learning differences
Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
