Teacher's Aide - Salem, New Hampshire

This position offers the flexibility of part-time hours (Monday through Wednesday) or a full-time schedule (Monday through Friday, with travel between two sites). You will work directly with a 4th-grade female student, serving as a positive role model and providing the firm, structured support needed to help her thrive academically and socially during the upcoming school year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma; preference given to candidates with a paraprofessional certification, associate degree, or Praxis completion.
• Demonstrated experience working 1:1 with students, especially those requiring clear boundaries and strong behavioral guidance.
• Skilled in behavior management techniques and comfortable maintaining an authoritative yet supportive rapport.
• Ability to build trust and promote independence while setting consistent expectations.
• Familiarity with school environments, teamwork, and effective communication with staff and families.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support in the classroom environment, staying attuned to the students needs throughout the day.
• Implement firm, consistent routines while modeling respectful, positive interactions.
• Help build the students academic, social, and self-management skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and family members.
• Maintain accurate notes and contribute to progress documentation as required.
